Pink Felt

Ever since I've arrived in Düsseldorf I have been searching for pink felt. There is so much more felt than in the UK, both by the metre and in a wide range of products. In my first week I bought small quantities of four different colours to test in the Jacobigarten at Malkasten. But my studio is filling up with felt in shades of pink. I like the thicker felt, about 3mm, although for the time being I'm making roses with the thinner version, 1mm. It's a good material for roses as it is much easier for beginners to handle than the sheer organdies I've also got in the studio. Everyone's roses look fantastic. I am planning to take 6 metres of thick pink felt to Malkasten for WG.
